A series of interactive installations for Sønderborg Multicultural House, including The Alssund Model, which consists of several screens forming a massive screen mosaic. Users can navigate a map and access information about various points of interest.
I was responsible for the hardware/software setup of the console controlling The Alssund Model. A Teensy microcontroller was used to pick up various kinds of input (e.g. joystick, modulation wheel, rotational wheel) in order to control the installation. In addition, I worked with projections in the building, all the different kinds of computers running both The Alssund Model, video projections and so on. Later I also contributed to the lighting control system, managing the many individually addressable LED strips in both bookcases and the custom lighting fixtures.
